Wonderputt Is Awesome Adventure Golf

Wonderputt

Wonderputt is adventure golf, “but with cows, toads, ski slopes, torpedos and a sprinkle of alien abduction for good measure.”

The result is a surprisingly entertaining game that’s easy to play, but hard to master.

My first trip through the course, I managed to shoot 27 under par, scoring 81,528 points and ranking a Colourful Relaxed Eagle.

Wonderputt Score

See if you can beat that!

Snack Food PIzza

If it looks like a pizza, and tastes like a pizza, it must be a… snack food?

What you see here is actually a meta-pizza, made from a variety of pizza flavored snacks, including Pizza Supreme Doritos, Pizzalicious Pringles, Pepperidge Farm Flavor Blasted Xplosive Pizza Goldfish crackers, Pepperoni Pizza Combos, and pizza flavored hummus:

Delicious, I’m sure.

Danny MacAskill – Industrial Revolutions

In Danny MacAskill’s latest video, Industrial Revolutions, he reminds us that the laws of nature can be defied with a LOT of practice:

LEGO Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 LEGO

Building detailed models out of LEGOs has always been an interesting hobby (though not necessarily one that I’d take on myself) which is why work like this set of Team Fortress 2 characters is so impressive.

Each character is made with genuine LEGO pieces, and from what I can tell, doesn’t use a ton of them either, which makes it even more impressive.

Shwood Turns Good Wood Into Sunglasses

Shwood

Shwood creates beautiful wooden sunglasses that take retro styles and give them a natural twist.

Shwood Blanks

In their own words:

A simple experiment with nature. Born from the limb of a Madrone tree, a rusty pair of cabinet hinges, and lenses from the corner store, Shwood has been a curious endeavor from the beginning. An endeavor to create a product that encompasses the individuality and uniqueness that can only be found in natural surroundings. A desire to experiment with design, materials, and aesthetics in the search for something that works. Free from passing trends, the brand’s focus remains that of its roots, innovation and creation. Long live creativity.

Shwood’s in-house manufacturing process merges precision technology with classic skilled craftsmanship to create a timeless art form. Every step from veneering and precision lens cutting, to shaping and finishing is conducted in our own Portland-based workshop to promise an entirely handcrafted eyewear piece. Wood manipulation is kept to a minimum in order to showcase the medium’s natural and unique splendor. All models are accompanied by 100% UVA/UVB protection Carl Zeiss lenses imported from Italy. Polarized lenses are also available.

With collections that range from $125 on up to $195 for limited edition collaborations made with rare and unique woods (including recycled skateboard decks!) there’s a style and a price for everyone, so check out Shwood to see what fits.
