You knew that eventually it had to happen, and today is that very unlucky day for one otherwise very lucky Bugatti Veyron owner. Besides the two destroyed by engineers during testing, this is the first Veyron to swap a little paint (and body panels) around, and is definitely the first customer crash to be reported. Supposedly, the car hit a pool of water, lost traction, and ended up in a ditch, though with 1000 horsepower on tap, there are a lot of things you can do that will put you in a ditch. Given the price tag of a new one though, I’d say this little fender bender should only cost the owner about the price of a few Bentleys, give or take a repaint.
