Tom Wrigglesworth created a fantastic spot for HP Invent that uses HP printers as “an orchestra in an aesthetic symphony conducted by HP Workstations.”
In less artsy speak, Tom created a kick-ass stop motion movie that uses printed pages to create each frame.

You’ve probably seen the latest round of Mac vs. PC ads, in which the PC character starts talking about the benefits of PCs, but legal copy covers the screen as he speaks. If not, here’s the ad:
As you can imagine, it’s pretty difficult to read what it says during the :30 seconds that the spot airs, but for the curious, MacJournals has transcribed the entire thing (from the HD version of the clip) and posted it for the world to see.

Although broken into paragraphs here, it’s presented in one long fully justified typographical nightmare on screen in four separate chunks. The first appears when Hodgman-as-PC says he’s “an incredibly easy to use PC:”
Please note that when you first receive your PC there is some suggested work that needs to be done before PCs can perform at their peak. These steps include, but are not limited to, downloading and installing necessary drivers for peripherals. These drivers may include printers, scanners, cameras, storage devices, music players, and other media devices. There may be more depending on your needs. It is also recommended that first time users remove all unneeded bloatware and remove all operational components.

Phil Hansen (the same guy that made Bruce Lee by dipping his arms in paint and then hitting the canvas like a martial artist) has created a fantastic piece of adver-art for Arby’s new Roastburger by painting the Mona Lisa using just the grease from 14 regular fast food burgers.
He calls it the ‘Mona Greasa’, and it’ll definitely make you question the things that go into a regular fast food burger:

This fantastic ad for Microsoft Office for Mac is called Pretending to Work, and it was animated entirely within Microsoft Office.
Now we’ve seen movies made inside of Excel before, but the level of detail that this ad goes into is impressive, and with PowerPoint stop motions, folder art, image slide shows, Excel movies and more, it’s a tour de force with what you can accomplish using Microsoft Office for Mac and a lot of time.
Just make sure to not-getting-caught-feng-shui your desk if you’re going to watch this at work…

Sony’s Bravia ads have never failed to amaze (see Bunnies, Pyramids, Dominos, Paint and Balls) so it should come as no surprise that their new ad is no different.
Called the Bravia-drome, it’s the world’s largest zoetrope that Sony built to show off the smooth motion of their 200Hz Motionflow technology.

Nissan and Sports Illustrated (especially the Swimsuit Edition) are no strangers to marketing to men, so when they needed to find a way to show off the new 370Z, it seems only fitting that they decided to take a bunch of swimsuit models, stick them in the passenger seats of cars with professional drifters behind the wheel, and let let the teams loose on the streets of Las Vegas.

Made For Each Other is a website/game from Frito Lay that’s meant to advertise for their chips and dips, but it’s also a fantastically fun site to just play around with and see what you can discover.
Inside of the site (it takes a while to load but is well worth it) there are tons of half-matches, and your goal is to bring them together. When you find a pair that fits, you’ll be rewarded with mini-games, video clips, and other goodies that all involve bringing things together.
There’s no ‘goal’ to speak of, so it’s mostly just a fun environment to play around in, but that doesn’t make it any less fun, so give it a go and see what you think.

For the 2009 Winter X Games, Superfad and The Martin Agency worked together to create this fantastic spot called The Spark.
It uses live-action, 3D, Illustration, and stop-motion together to show a trick evolving from its inception in the snow to its thrilling culmination on the course, and is definitely a unique :30 second spot:

Vodafone and Cubeecraft have teamed up for a fantastic Christmas campaign that allows you to put your face on one of their holiday papercraft figures and then send your ‘Christmas Clone’ to a friend like a Christmas card.
Then, they just print, fold and build the mini you to keep a little version of you around all holiday long.

Plenty of folks have already shed clothing to help support PETA’s anti-fur cause in the “I’d rather go naked” campaign, so it should come as no surprise that Khloe Kardashian (Kim Kardashian’s lesser known sister) striped at the chance to show her support as well, but what’s interesting is that she blogged about the experience as well:
Hey dolls! I recently teamed up with PETA to do a holiday billboard campaign boycotting fur. The billboard is titled, “Fur? I’d Rather Go Naked,” which I think is pretty fitting considering that I’m not exactly wearing much in the ad. LOL. My family and I will be unveiling the billboard Wednesday, December 10, at noon at the corners of Melrose and N. “Performance Art” is a rather unique commercial that Bosch put together to advertise the power of their spark plugs.
It features Vaughn Gittin Jr. tearing up the streets of Los Angeles in his highly customized Mustang drift-mobile, and is one kind of art that I can definitely appreciate:

In case you missed it, this ad for Photoshop, called “As Real As It Gets”, is a fantastically creative interpretation of what the program would look like if it existed in real life.

The slowly downsizing girl group Danity Kane shed their clothing recently to take part in PETA’s “We’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign.
They might be comfortable in their own skin so that animals can keep theirs, but at some point, someone’s going to call PETA out for just peddling partially naked women to grow their own brand, right?
