Coffee Joulies are magic beans that keep your coffee (or any other hot beverage) at the perfect temperature.

First, they absorb extra thermal energy in your coffee when it’s served too hot, cooling it down to a drinkable temperature three times faster than normal. Next, they release that stored energy back into your coffee keeping it in the right temperature range twice as long.

Coffee Joulies are currently available as a project on Kickstarter, but with the interest that they’ve already generated, they shouldn’t have any problem getting the funding they need to become a real product.

To celebrate his roots, Johnny Cupcakes is recreating what got his company started: Slinging wrinkled up, gas scented t-shirts out of his crusty suitcase while on tour with his band.

The tour will take him all across the country, and along the way, he’ll stop at respected businesses, including art galleries, boutiques, bakeries, toy shops, and more, and giving away free treats and surprises at stops along the way.

One of the recent surprises was at Kamp Grizzly in Portland, Oregon, where he busted out a Cupcake Cannon and fired it at willing volunteers. Thankfully, they documented the whole thing in stunningly slow motion, so that you too can share in the joy that a Cupcake Cannon can bring:

Charles and Erik started the Andrews & Dunham Damn Fine Tea company because they were obsessed with tea.

Andrews & Dunham knows that nothing beats a perfect cup of tea, and a great tea needs no explanation. It tastes great, it makes you feel good, it’s good for you. It’s even legal.

Damn Fine Tea isn’t just ordinary tea with a fancy name however. No. Each limited edition tea is prepared using orthodox methods (picked and processed the traditional way) and packaged in tins that are covered in unique, hand-printed labels from Aesthetic Apparatus.

In addition, each tea is part of a themed series, and they only sell one series at a time. (So far in quantities of 400.) Once that series sells out, they move on to the next tea and the previous tea will never be sold again. (Probably.)

The first series included a Ceylon, a Chinese green tea called Dragonwell, and a black tea from Nepal, while the second series includes two black teas themed after boxers named Jackee Muntz and Thomas Sampson who are pitted against each other in a contest of strength and stamina.

Ringside seats to this epic battle between men and teas are selling fast though, so you better hurry!

Sure, you’ve made a gallon of Skittles Flavored Vodka, and you’ve even managed to make it taste all right, but you don’t just want to drink that creation out of a plain old shot glass now, do you?

If you’re looking to keep the quirky booze theme going, then how about edible gummy shot glasses?

Thankfully, Instructables has put together a set of instructions for creating such concoctions, and since it basically involves little more than microwaving gummy worms and then adding the goop to a silicone mold, you’ll be drinking out of a gummy glass in no time!

Just remember to count your drinks though before chowing down, because gummy/candy hangovers are the worst!

In-N-Out’s Secret Menu is about as secret as Area 51, but if you think that fast food innovation has ceased as a result, then prepare to be amazed, because I introduce to you: The McGangBang.

Now I’m sure some of you are scratching your head and wondering why you haven’t seen the McGangBang on the menu at your local McDonald’s recently, but worry not, because the McGangBang isn’t a sanctioned menu item. (Yet.)

Instead, it’s the clever creation of a very hungry (and probably stoned) McDonald’s customer that needed a cheap meal with a lot of flavor.

To create a McGangBang, simply order a McChicken and a Double Cheeseburger (both are on the Dollar Menu) and then take the McChicken sandwich and shove it between the patties of the Double Cheeseburger. The result is a chicken/beef hybrid that has cheese, crunch, and enough calories to fill you for the day, and it only costs $2.16.

Unsurprisingly, you may need to explain exactly what you’re trying to order if you want the McDonald’s employees to do the assembly for you, but apparently it’s become popular enough that at some locations that workers won’t even bat an eyelash when you slowly pronounce “McGangBang” into the drive-through window.

If you’d like to learn a little more history about this sandwich of sandwiches, then head on over to Eat Me Daily, where they’ve done their best to document the entire history of the tasty treat, including the first mention of the creation, the first successful order of the McGangBang at the drive-through, the first YouTube video of a McGangBang order, and more.

Just don’t forget to use protection. (And ketchup.)
