Truckers Delight is a music video that takes Spielberg’s Duel and Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat Kill Kill! and Marc Dorcel’s wildest fantasies and warps them into an 8-bit, Sega style animation.
It’s also NSFW (though it’s animated, so it’s not the worst thing in the world) so watch with care:

Lucas Martell must have been channeling some serious Pixar vibes when he worked on his latest short, because Pigeon: Impossible is an impressive piece of animation.
The story is about a rookie secret agent who faces with a problem seldom covered in basic training: what to do when a curious pigeon gets trapped inside your multi-million dollar, government-issued nuclear briefcase.

Shadowplay is a beautiful stop-motion film about the events surrounding Hiroshima:
Firekites – Autumn Story is a beautifully animated music video that was made using chalk.
The erased chalk creates a kind of halo around everything, and the overall effect is very unique and interesting, so I suggest you check it out:
Scintillation uses 35,000 photos and a technique called live projection mapping to create a beautiful experimental film that is hard to describe, but must be seen.
Debacle is a new video from Nike Skateboarding that’s breaking all the rules with the ability to download an HD copy of the video for free from Nike.com
Debacle was also done in partnership with Adobe, so you can check out a Behind The Scenes video to see what went into making the film:

Looking Thru The B-Sides is an AWESOME stop motion short that follows the adventures of a skater named “ollie” as he is off on a quest to find his lost skateboard. What starts off as a casual trip to the skatepark, turns into a wild trip down the rabbit hole and ends up in a way that Alice In Wonderland could never imagine.

The PEN Story is similar to Stop Motion with Wolf and Pig in that it uses a series of photos to tell a story, and does everything with a sort of stop motion/animation hybrid that works quite well when done correctly.
In The PEN Story, 60,000 pictures were shot, 9,600 prints were developed, and 1,800 pictures had to be shot again, and the result is a great story that uses zero post production to make it all work.
Star Wars: A New Hope is currently being remade 15-seconds at a time with Star Wars: Uncut. To make the remake, the original movie was cut into 15-second segments, and then anyone could log on to the Star Wars: Uncut website and claim any segment. The segments will then be shot by the person that claims them, and then at the end, they’ll all be stitched back together into a full movie.
The result is almost guaranteed to be somewhere between a Sweded masterpiece and a fanboy nightmare, so I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for updates and posting anything that I hear.
Surface is an experimental film, exploring the emotional journey from an underground urban perspective.
This ‘urban symphony’ transforms human actions and street objects into beats that harmoniously compose a grand audio and visual composition. The film emphasizes the ideas of ‘point of contact’, ‘human identity’ and notion of ‘live footprints’.

SLOW is one artist’s “attempt to use stop motion and it’s different time layers to express my perception of time”.
It’s beautiful in its simplicity, and definitely worth a watch:

The goal of Food Inc. is to lift the veil on our nation’s food industry and expose the highly mechanized underbelly that has been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA.
Our nation’s food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, insecticide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won’t go bad, but we also have new strains of E. coli—the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually. We are riddled with widespread obesity, particularly among children, and an epidemic level of diabetes among adults.
Featuring interviews with such experts as Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation), Michael Pollan (The Omnivore’s Dilemma, In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto) along with forward thinking social entrepreneurs like Stonyfield’s Gary Hirshberg and Polyface Farms’ Joel Salatin, Food, Inc. reveals surprising—and often shocking truths—about what we eat, how it’s produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.
Though I do recommend seeing this film, I don’t recommend stopping by the popcorn counter first!
Deadline is a fantastic stop-motion movie about one artist’s fight with post-it notes and deadlines:
Everything was shot over the course of four days, and they used more than 6,000 post-it notes to pull off the effect:
Choices is a fantastic commercial for United Way Romania that shows the effects of the little decisions that we make every day, and how they can lead us (or others) down a path that we’d never expect:
The entire spot was actually made with paper cut outs, and they made a short ‘making of’ video to show you how:
Sorry I’m Late is a fantastic stop motion from Tomas Mankovsky that tells the tale of one man’s journey home and his harrowing adventures along the way.
After watching the movie, be sure to check out the ‘Making Of’ area for some fantastic behind the scenes info as well.
Café Serré is short (even for a short) but it’s also a nicely animated 3D tale of one lucky cop and his time at the cafe:
