He doesn’t transform, he doesn’t cook, and he doesn’t have an illegitimate child, but John McClane sure does manage to kick a lot of ass as he works his way through one of the best movies of the summer.
Live Free or Die Hard, aka Die Hard 4, is an action packed adrenaline fest that begins about five minutes in and doesn’t let up until the credits roll.
Though Bruce Willis might have added on a few years since his last showing, it has only made his roll more charming, and the movie constantly plays off of itself to get you laughing, which happens only sparingly between some of the most amazing action sequences any movie has ever seen.
Thankfully, they decided against computer animation for many of the fights, and instead relied on good old fashioned stunt work.
