Joshua Kinberg is not a fan of Bush. He’s taken up a rather unusual method of protest though, with Bikes Against Bush. The project centers around a custom-designed printing device Josh attached to his bike. As he rides around the streets of Manhattan, the device prints out messages dot matrix style behind the bike using water-soluble chalk. The contraption is also connected to the Internet wirelessly, so that when Josh is riding a “performance”, followers can submit messages for the bike to print out. It’s a unique (though somewhat controversial) method of getting his message across, and I’m impressed by the creativity. Chalk on.
