…Activity Monitor does more than you think?

Here’s a neat Mac trick: Open your Activity Monitor (it’s located in the utilities folder), right click on the dock icon (or ctrl click for you Mac purists), and select one of the available dock icons. The new icon can show you a variety of things in real time, including:

  • CPU Usage
  • CPU History
  • Network Usage
  • Disc Activity
  • Memory Usage

For those of you that want an easy way to peek under your computer’s hood from time to time just to see what’s going on in there, this little tweak is sure to help.
