…New Balance is making comic book 480s?

New Balance 480 Comic

New Balance is making a shoe for the comic book fan (a surprisingly untapped market). Their 480 Comic will be a limited edition of the regular 480, and will feature black and white comic artwork with red detailing. Inspired by the current revival of the movie super hero, these kicks might not give you any super powers, but they will help you chase down crime on the mean city streets if that’s what you decide to do with your spare time. Pow.

…Your bag should make a statement?

Guardian Angel

Vlieger & Vandam make a variety of very unique bags, including this one called Guardian Angel that makes a statement about people’s perceptions and fear of violence compared to the number of crimes actually committed. It’s even been included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Now that’s a bag that really says something.
