Two of the coolest companies on the planet, Infectious and Mimobot, have teamed up to create a custom Mimobot flash drive that features the art from one lucky member of the Infectious community.
The winner will be selected through a combination of community voting and input from the guest judges, and will take home $1,000, an Infectious prize pack, and a custom Mimobot prize pack that includes ten of the winning design in various sizes.
If you’re a flash drive fan, but Mimoco’s size limitation has prevented you from picking up one of their fantastic Mimobots, then get excited, because Mimoco has just announced the availability of their new line of 8GB drives.
Each Mimobot design currently available will now be offered in this new, larger size (up from a previous best of 4GB) and still carries the same great Mimoco content, just in a new, larger package with more room for your stuff.
Mimoco’s latest series of Mimobot designer USB flash drives is a partnership with Simone Legno’s tokidoki brand, and features the monkey-adorned Meletta, Italian devil chef Pastaio, and treasure-hunting Pirate Nero.
Meaning “sometimes” in Japanese, tokidoki was named because of Simone’s love for Japanese culture and because he believes “everyone waits for moments that change one’s destiny.”
As always, they come preloaded with desktop icons, wallpapers, avatars, soundBytes, and an issue of the MimoZine digital magazine.
Halo fever has taken over the Mimoco world, as Master Chief and Spartan Mimobots are now available for pre-order.
Available in green, blue, or red, and 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB sizes, the limited edition storage devices come pre-loaded with:
The Mimobot SoundByte application, artwork, excerpts from the upcoming Halo novel, and a special episode of “This Spartan [...]
