Sure, you COULD drive your new Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 on the pavement, but what would be the fun in that?
For those that are looking for a little more adventure out of their six-figure supercar, Reiter Engineering has created a Gallardo that can compete in just about any rally event in the world, including those that take place in the dirt.
To help with this off-road adventure, Reiter Engineering gives the car a smaller rear wing, shorter front splitter, dampers with greater travel and a hand-brake for those quick 180-degree turns that you so often need to make after putting the car nose first into an embankment by the side of the road.
According to Reiter Engineering, “we had absolutely no technical problems whatsoever, which surprised us a little as the suspension forces are incomparably higher than on the race track”.
Sure, it’s not the prettiest way to get your Lamborghini from one town to the next, but it just might be the most fun!
(Oh, and in case you’re wondering, yes, these do get driven, and yes, they also get crashed:
It’s supposed to be a Bullit remake (the site’s in French) but regardless of what it’s supposed to be, a black Ferrari F430 chasing an orange Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera through the streets of Paris is definitely something to be seen and heard:
You’ve probably had your car cleaned before, and you may have even had it detailed once or twice, but I can promise you that you’ve never had it cleaned and detailed like Clark’s Ne Plus Ultra can clean and detail it.
Recently, Clark decided to photograph and document his entire process for the Detailing World message boards, and reading through it is like a how-to for the automotively obsessed.
With four days of washing, waxing, measuring, taping, prepping, polishing, and even painting, the car comes out looking better than it ever has, even when compared to a factory fresh example.
Makes your bucket of suds seem rather simple by comparison, doesn’t it?
It’s not like you needed another reason to want a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, but if you’d like to further solidify the awesomeness of this car in your mind, check out this video of what it can do in the hands of Sam Hubinette:
