It’s definitely not a style that matches everyone’s tastes, but I wouldn’t turn down an Edo Competition LP710 Christian Audigier Limited Edition if someone gave one to me!

The car, which takes Lamborghini’s already potent Murcielago LP640 and kicks it up to eleven with a new ECU, new headers, new camshafts, modified cylinder heads, high flow catalytic converters and mufflers, butterfly-valve controlled exhaust cut-outs, and special air filters that bring the car up to 710 hp, also includes a host of other do-dads and whatnots that make it truly one of a kind.

Or so LP710 owners thought before the Christian Audigier edition came along (or rather, five of them) giving the already exclusive car an extra helping of exclusivity.

Each of the new ‘haute-couture’ Lamborghinis are done in matte black on the outside, and then Audigier (of Ed Hardy fame) custom designs an airbrush exterior and a stitched interior to the customer’s specifications.

Power and exclusivity are never a cheap combination, but this is a special case, as each of the five cars to be made will set you back an estimated $690,000! As a result, don’t expect to see this car outside of a well groomed country club lawn or art exhibit/museum near you!

…Edo Competition tried their luck on the Ferrari Enzo?

For Edo Competition, nothing is sacred.

The latest car to go under their knife is the Ferrari Enzo, and despite the fact that many Ferrari purists would argue that the Enzo is perfection embodied, Edo would disagree.

Changes include a new ram-air intake system, high-flow air filters, FXX style headers, high-flowing cats, a new exhaust system with remote-controlled butterfly valves to adjust sound levels on the fly, and a modified ECU that helps power levels reach 700 hp and 527 lb.-ft. of torque.

That power is then moved through a retuned transmission that replicates the shift times of the FXX bretherin, and then out through the 19 and 20 inch blacked out rims that are an Edo special.

Suspension has also seen some improvements, with compression and rebound that have been adjusted to match the FIA GT MC12.

According to Edo, 62 mph is now dispatched in just 3.5 seconds, and the car will reach 186 mph in just 22 seconds.

I guess even perfection has some room for improvement!
