Sometimes, the selflessness of others can warm your heart and bring a tear to your eye.
While students across the nation are vying for their own bit of homecoming royalty, five seniors from Lake Fenton High School decided to use their spot on the homecoming court to give the award to Eli Florence, a sophomore, former offensive lineman, and leukemia victim.
Because, “We knew we’d all be winners if we did it.”
