…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Mansory Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero?

Bugatti Veyron Vincero

Mansory doesn’t do subtle, so you know that when they get their hands on a Bugatti Veyron, the end result is going to be something special. In this case, the end result of their “individualization project” is the Linea Vincero, a car that simply defies belief.

Bugatti Veyron Vincero Details

Starting with an aerodynamic kit that’s completely formed out of unpainted carbon fiber, LED elements serve to emphasize the new lines, and a stylized V in the grill pays homage to the name Vincero. Other changes include new, fully forged turbine wheels, a shortened ‘bonnet’, a new front splitter, new side skirts, bigger air outtakes, and a new diffuser that are all designed to help the fastest go even faster.

Plus, Mansory was not satisfied with a mere 1,000 horsepower, so they have upped it to 1109 with an optimized air intake and a modified exhaust. (Considering the amount of R&D that Bugatti put into getting 1,000 horsepower out of the quad-turbo W16, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out they also used a little magic powder to get to that number as well.)

Bugatti Veyron Vincero Interior

Inside, an ambience illumination system shines from the door to cover the newly embossed leather seats, contrast colored accents on the roof, and every other luxury material you decide to slather inside of the Vincero with, since I’m imagining there is nothing too rare to find its way inside of this Veyron. Even the steering wheel gets new gear shift paddles to remind you that nothing you can touch can be found inside of a standard, commoner’s Bugatti Veyron.

…The G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS is fast?

G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS

What has four doors, two superchargers, a V10, and goes 228.4 mph?

If you answered G-Power’s BMW M5 Hurricane RS, then you’d be correct! (And you’d probably work for G-Power as well.)

The company set its sights on the Brabus CLS ‘Rocket’, which was the previous record holder for four-door cars with a top speed of 227.23 mph, and says that they can get even more power from the car by increasing the boost from the twin chargers.

It’s not like the car will ever see anything even close to that on public roads, since the company had to take the car to a test track to reach the monster numbers, but I guess it’s good to know that when needed, you could outrun most planes in style and luxury!

…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Knight XV?

Conquest Vehicles Knight XV

The Knight XV from Conquest Vehicles “defines the future of the ultra-luxurious, handcrafted fully armored SUV. This one-of-a-kind, V10, 6.8-litre, Bio-fuel powered SUV was inspired by the Gurkha military vehicle and features security appointments that are unrivaled in today’s SUV marketplace”.

Designed as “an armored vehicle and not a vehicle that has been armored”, the Knight XV is manufactured using military-grade armoring materials, and sits atop a specially modified Ford super duty chassis, making parts and service easily accessible around the globe in case your tank breaks down and needs a tune-up.

The 6.8L V10 runs on E-85 if you feel like giving the environment a break, and is certified as legal in all 50 US states. 400 horsepower and 498 ft. lbs. of torque are produced by the massive engine, but don’t expect 0-60 times to wow you, because all that power is definitely going to be needed when the vehicle weighs in at over 10,000 pounds!

Conquest Vehicles Knight XV Details

Four wheel drive with locking hubs, a 4.30 ratio limited slip differential, and a 5-speed transmission ensure that you’ll never get stuck when the road gets tough, and 40 gallons of fuel in the tank will ensure that even when the going does get tough, you can just keep on going.

Inside, wool carpeting and leather seating keep the passengers comfy, while TV monitors and a full entertainment system including a PlayStation 3 keep them entertained. Plus, two forward looking infrared radar systems (one mounted front and one rear with separate screens for each) come standard on all Knight XVs sold in North America, so if you need to turn the lights down low, you can still make your way around town in complete darkness without hitting a thing.

All told, the Knight XV takes 1,500 hours to build by hand, and only 100 of them will be made for their ultra rich, ultra paranoid buyers.

Don’t expect luxury and protection like this to come cheap though, as each Knight XV will cost its owner a cool $295,000.
