…Demolition derby watching is better in slow motion?

There’s nothing more American than getting together at the local fairgrounds and smacking some old cars together for the entertainment of others.

However, when you slow this Redneck rumble down and view a demolition derby in super slow motion, it turns into a ballet of metal and mayhem that’s actually rather beautiful to watch:

Plus, watching in slow motion as cars literally mount one another adds just enough cringe to make it enjoyable at the expense of others.

…The Coke Zero Game looks fantastic?

As part of the UEFA’s Euro 2008 Football Championships, North Kingdom put together a game for Coke called The Coke Zero Game that it says is one of its biggest projects ever.

Unfortunately, it’s currently only available in German, but with hot babes, flying cars, and plenty of fire and mayhem in the mix, it’s sure to be a blast when it launches stateside.

…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Formula Drift?

On Saturday, I had the chance to go and see Formula D’s “The Finals” at Irwindale Speedway (yes, I did get stuck on Interstate 5 on the way down from San Francisco due to that massive accident), and I must say, if you’re at all a fan of the four wheeled machine, make sure you check out one of Formula Drift’s events at a track near you.

If you’re not familiar with the sport, think of drifting as two automotive ballerinas battling it out in a boxing match. It’s gracefully controlled mayhem, and in my opinion, it’s easily the best form of four-wheeled entertainment on the planet.
