…It’s TGI Friday: The Space Game?

The Space Game

The Space Game is The Casual Collective’s follow-up to the uber-popular Desktop Tower Defense, and the goal is to produce energy, mine asteroids for minerals, expand your influence and defend your base. Basically, it’s like EVE, only free and with a lot less options. (Though the menu does look a bit daunting at first.) The game itself is rather clever though, and feels very well thought out, so give it a try and see what you think.

…It’s TGI Friday: MotherLoad?

MotherLoad

Today’s TGI Friday is coming to you a little late, so I’m giving you something to stay busy with over the weekend. MotherLoad is a game from XGen Studios that puts you in control of a mining pod that must search for the minerals necessary for life. It’s not all fun and games though, as hidden gas pockets, earthquakes, and other surprises will need to be dealt with. Can you dig it?

Also, congratulations to janice, who was the winner of last week’s TGI Friday contest with a choice of Antartica as a travel destination. Your $10 iTunes gift card is in the mail.
