Jed Mildon Does A Triple Backflip On His BMX

Doing a backflip on a BMX bike? Easy. (Or so it seems, given the number of BMXers who can do one.)

Doing a double backflip on a BMX bike? Now we’re getting somewhere!

But doing a triple backflip on a BMX bike? Insanity! Impossible! Instant Death!

Or not, as Jed Mildon has become the first person to complete at triple backflip at the Unit T3 Mindtricks BMX Jam in Taupo, New Zealand.

Don’t believe me?

Here’s the proof:

…Ken Block can fly?

Ken Block

I am now officially jealous of Ken Block.

After getting to jump his rally prepped Subaru WRX 171 feet for a new world record, he got to jump it over 70 feet in the snow for the cover of Snowboarder magazine.

The stunt was performed at New Zealand’s Snow Park Record, and used a specially prepared 55-foot ramp to put him alongside some very brave snowboarders during the jump.

I just hope Space Jam’s “I Believe I can Fly” played over his stereo the entire time.

…You have a dirty mind?

Here’s a fun game to play: See how many metaphors and euphemisms you can find in this rather clever commercial for Fresh!, a XXX channel out of New Zealand.

Hint: There are more than you think. (A lot more!)
