…It’s TGI Friday: Tag: The Power of Paint?

Tag: The Power of Paint

Tag: The Power of Paint is an innovative first-person puzzle platformer that requires you to paint the world around you with special paints as you work your way towards the goal.

Each color of paint gives you a different ability, with green launching you off the surface, red giving you a speed boost, and blue allowing you to stick to the surface, and you can combine them for even more powers.

Recently, Tag was awarded the Best Student Game and Student Showcase awards at the Independent Games Festival, and best of all, it’s free, so you have no excuse for not checking it out.

…It’s TGI Friday: Scarygirl?

Scarygirl was abandoned and washed up on a deserted peninsula, and is now on a mission to find the man behind her haunting dreams.

Part puzzle game, part platformer, part adventure game, and part art project, it’s an amazingly unique experience, and the Flash intro alone will have you wondering how such a great game is available for free.

…It’s TGI Friday: Transmover?

Polygon ★ Gmen’s Transmover is probably one of the most unique games I’ve ever played. It’s a cross between an 8-bit platformer and Portal, and the result is a game that’s hard to explain, hard to figure out, but oh so satisfying when you do.

…Shift shifts your thinking?

Shift is like the poor man’s Portal. To solve this puzzle platformer, you must ‘shift’ between yourself and your shadow.

Think of it as a 2D Paper Mario.

The controls are simple (arrow keys move, space jumps, shift shifts) so you can pick it up quickly, but you’ll soon find your brain shifting into high gear as it tries to keep track of what’s up and what’s down.

Are you ready?
