Vimeo Toys are “interactive visualizations of what’s happening right now” on Vimeo.
Though Vimeo encourages anyone to make a toy and submit it for approval, they’ve seeded the site with the first two: VimeoLand and Pulse.
Of the two, VimeoLand is definitely my favorite, as I really haven’t seen anything else like it before. VimeoLand is an interactive landscape with people walking around and a plane flying overhead, and each person represents an action by one of the Vimeo users. Clicking on a person brings up a like, a comment, an upload or a signup by a Vimeo user, and clicking on the plane drops a random video from the plane’s cargo.
While it’s not particularly useful, it definitely shows off the potential of Vimeo Toys, and makes me eager to see what’s coming out next.

Though the US is still having trouble wrapping its head around the power and potential of diesel, Audi seems well aware of what it can do, and has developed the R8 V12 TDI LeMans concept car to help them strut their stuff.
Featuring “the first 12-cylinder diesel engine in a high-performance roadgoing sports car”, it generates 500 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, propelling the car from zero to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of well over 186 mph.
Peak torque?
It’s reached at just 1,750 rpm, meaning “effortless acceleration” that is without rival.
Thus, the question becomes: Would you switch gas pumps for a car like this?
My guess: Yes, yes you would.

On the one hand, it’s too bad Ownage Burst is only a single level demo, because the game is awesome! On the other, it’s good that it’s only a single level demo, because the game is awesome, and there’s more to come!
Kill hundreds of enemies in this senseless action flash game. Avoid mortal shots while headshooting random baddies and then roll for cover with the lateral jump, or throw grenades to see them blown to pieces.
With classic side scrolling action, simple controls, unlimited ammo, and a seemingly endless supply of “baddies”, this game definitely has some potential.
