I’m definitely not a fontophile, but the occasional mix of letters and subject matter is so perfect that it makes me stop and take note.
Pedro Campiche’s poster, which spells out “I Spent All Day Watching Porn” in letters that are far from PG, is one such font. It’s subtle enough that you might miss it on first glance, but risqué enough that you definitely won’t miss it a second time around.
With The Politically Incorrect Alphabet, teaching the ABCs just got a bit more risqué.
Filled with subtle (and less than subtle) references to words that are “now outside of acceptable usage”, it’s an interesting look at the way we sometimes fear language, and the damage that it can cause.
