By now you’ve probably heard of Mirror’s Edge, the free running/parkour game that is soon to debut for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
However, if you’d like to get in on the action a little early, then check out Mirror’s Edge 2D from Borne Games.
Made by the same people that created the Fancy Pants Adventure, Mirror’s Edge 2D is a free flowing Flash game that closely mirrors the gameplay style of Mirror’s Edge, only in 2D.
The goal is to run, jump, climb and slide your way through the level in a quick but creative way, collecting points and other goodies along the way.
Right now the game is still only in Beta, so you only get one level, and there still might be the occasional bug or two, but there’s definitely promise here, and it’s still fun to play as is, so head on over and give free running a chance.
On August 31, join a million of your closest friends for Nike’s The Human Race, a 10K that takes place in 25 cities around the world, as well as in your own backyard thanks to Nike+ technology.
If you can’t make it to one of the designated areas on the day of the run, but you’ve got a Nike+ kit, simply register for the event, synchronize your watch, and run when everyone else does.
The goal is to get 1,000,000 people to run together, and to raise money for The UN Refugee Agency, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the WWF.

There’s a point at which you should look in a mirror and say to yourself “You know, Self, you’ve probably spent too much time in front of the computer lately building that Line Rider run”.
Unfortunately for this creator (though fortunately for us) he didn’t listen to that voice, because TechDawg used over 126,000 lines to create this run, called Transcendental, that goes on for over two minutes!

Drag Soccer is a tactical game of soccer where you control when players run, pass, and shoot.
It’s addictive in its simplicity, and the AI means you don’t have to worry about the other players while you give one directions, making it easy to learn as well as fun.
After nearly a year, The Fancy Pants Adventure continues with an almost complete World 2.
There’s no music, and “the game’s missing a few things”, but the gist is there, and so is the fun.
