…Lamborghinis ship inside of giant boxes?

Lamborghini Reventon In A Box

When I tried to imagine how you would ship a million dollar Lamborghini, I guess I never figured that it would come wrapped in plastic inside of a giant box.

That’s exactly how they shipped Lamborghini Reventon number one of twenty though, and Lamborghini of Las Vegas was kind enough to document the entire delivery process so that you can see what a million dollar car looks like when they drop it off at your doorstep. (And this is the only one to ever hit a doorstep as well, since the other 19 were bought and paid for before ever hitting a showroom floor.)

…Some news stories don’t need many words?

Here are two pictures that tell quite a tale:

Gibson And Boo Boo

The first is Gibson and Boo Boo, the world’s tallest and the world’s smallest dog, meeting for the first time in Sacramento, California for Guinness World Records Day, 2007. On his hind legs, Gibson stands at over 7 feet tall, while Boo Boo checks in at just 4.9 inches.

Banana Shoreline

The second is the shoreline of two Dutch North Sea islands after six containers of bananas fell off of a cargo ship during a storm and washed ashore. After the spill, the shoreline was bananas, B.A.N.A.N.A.S.

…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Cardboard car?

Cardboard Aston Martin

Despite looking like you could hop in and take it for a spin, this Aston Martin DB5 is actually a model made entirely out of cardboard.

Chris Gilmour handcrafted this cardboard car, and though it won’t take you very far, it is an amazingly detailed piece of work, complete all the way down to the Bond gadgets sticking out of the sides.

Plus, it’s easy to ship.
