Threadless Notebooks From Scout Books

Threadless Scout Books

In addition to t-shirts, Threadless has branched out into notebooks through a partnership with Scout Books.

The covers feature popular designs from the community, including “Bone Idol” by Stuart Colebrook, “Poker Hand Values” by Tan Nuyen, and “Music Business Remastered” by Dale Edwin Murray, as seen above.

Inside each book is 16 pages of graph paper to help you organize your thoughts, and all materials are made in the USA.

Just $9 for a 3 Pack.

…Threadcakes has picked winners?

Threadcakes Winner

Threadcakes definitely upped the bar this year, as the winner’s cakes look like spot on (and delicious) reproductions of their printed counterparts.

Jennifer Flynn took home the Grand Prize with her 3D rendition of Noah Express, while Angel Adkins’ ‘Bird Migration’ took 2nd, and Lauren Babis’ interpretation of ‘The Red’ captured 3rd.

The rest of the cakes are equally impressive, so be sure to browse through the gallery and see what the fuss was all about.

…Infectious ate Popdeck?

Infectious Eats Popdeck

Infectious has always been the place to go for some of the best artist designed iPhone skins, iPod skins, car decals, adhesive wall art and laptop art around, and now they’re the place to go for custom skateboard decks as well thanks to a recent purchase of Popdeck, the former skate deck champion.

Both Infectious and Popdeck are similar to Threadless in that artists can submit designs and then the community votes on the winners, which means each new piece of art is unique and there should be plenty to chose from to match your style.

To get the new and improved Popdeck purchase off the ground, Infectious is also hosting an art contest called the Skate Deck Design Challenge, and if your design is one of the first five to be picked to become a skate deck, you’ll win fabulous prizes that range from $1000 in cold hard cash to a limited edition, never to be sold “Infectious Eats Popdeck” skate deck.

…RYZ wants to customize your kicks?

RYZ

RYZ is trying to be the Threadless of the shoe world, and looks to be doing a pretty good job at it so far.

Like the other user generated content companies, you can design a shoe, vote on shoe designs buy the winners, and discuss shoes with other shoe lovers in the community.

Right now it’s still in beta, so there aren’t a lot of shoes in the store just yet, but what’s there shows promise, and it’s definitely got a nice little vibe going. Plus, rocking custom kicks is sure to score you some instant street cred, so pick up a pair and support the artists.
