…The digital dash was supposed to be the future?

12 Gauge

The ‘80s were definitely filled with their fare share of flair, and the automotive trend of installing digital gauges into new automobiles was no exception.

…iPods can be art?

Exploded iPod

…Elijah Florence is a king?

Elijah FlorenceSometimes, the selflessness of others can warm your heart and bring a tear to your eye.

While students across the nation are vying for their own bit of homecoming royalty, five seniors from Lake Fenton High School decided to use their spot on the homecoming court to give the award to Eli Florence, a sophomore, former offensive lineman, and leukemia victim.

Why?

It’s an incredibly touching story, and the ESPN article tells it better than I could ever hope to, so read through for a dose of inspiration.

(Though always the fighter, on October 14, 2007, Elijah passed on; a king in his own little way.)
