…Wikipedia is a thief?

Who knew Wikipedia contained such a wealth of useful information?

…You should be proud of being white and nerdy?

Merriam-Webster defines nerd as an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person; especially one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits. That’s a pretty harsh description, considering there are quite a few people (myself included) who would be proud to call themselves a nerd, yet definitely not one defined by M-W. Wikipedia does a little better, defining nerd as somebody who passionately pursues academic and intellectual interests at the expense of social traits such as interpersonal communication, fashion, hygiene and physical fitness. Still pretty bad though. Thankfully DYH is here to rescue the dignity of nerds everywhere, defining a nerd as anyone who understands all of the references in Weird Al’s White and Nerdy.

How’d you do? If you understood all of the words in a rap song for the first time in your life, consider yourself a full-blown nerd, but do it with pride, there’s nothing wrong with being a little white and nerdy.

…Firefox 2.0 is now official?

Firefox 2.0 has officially hit the streets, and it’s going to be hot. If you haven’t joined the Firefox revolution, now is the time. Firefox, by Mozilla, is a free, open source, cross-platform, graphical web browser (thanks Wikipedia) that’s quickly become the standard for browsing the web. It cuts down on pop ups, is totally customizable, and just plain works. Give it a try; you’ll never look at the web the same way again.

Need another reason to switch? Watch this comparison video, and the choice will be pretty obvious:
