…The Internet is having a balloon race?

Orange is hosting the World’s first Internet Balloon Race, and DidntYouHear is taking part.

I’ve entered P-Nut the raccoon into the race (you should be able to see him in the bottom left of the screen), and DidntYouHear.com is a destination that racers can stop at to earn “miles” during the race. Then, the person with the most miles at the end of the wins a trip to Ibiza.

If you’d like to participate in the race, just click on P-Nut and it should take you to the Orange site where you can sign up and get your own balloon to race.

Hurry though, because the race ends in just four days.

…Cursor*10 is crazy?

Despite its simplicity, Cursor*10 is actually an incredibly innovative and challenging game.

To win, you must partner with yourself.

You’re given 10 cursors, and each cursor lasts for a certain amount of time. Then, on the next round, you are put in control of a brand new cursor, but your old cursor is still there, and it does the same thing that you did with it in the last round.

If it sounds confusing, that’s just because it’s difficult to explain, but once you give it a shot, you’ll quickly get the hang of it, and then you’ll soon see the genius behind the idea.

…Invasion Tactical Defense lets you save the world?

Invasion Tactical Defense

Invasion Tactical Defense is an impressively complex Flash game where your goal is to protect a nuclear factory from an attacking alien race.

To play, you buy cannons, upgrade the factory, and deploy personnel.

Sounds simple, right?

Well, it’s not.

Thankfully, the game’s designers have added in plenty of settings to tweak and tune as you try to find the right mix, and even then it’s not an easy win, so give it a shot and see what you can do.

The world depends on it.

Caution: The site requires you to register to play, so be prepared to create an account.

…It’s TGI Friday: Moola?

Moola Logo

What if you could make real money from your online gaming addiction?

What if you could make that money without ever risking any of your own?

Moola, a “massively multiplayer rewards game”, wants to do just that, and will be opening its site (currently in beta) to the masses by the end of today.

(If you’d like to get in, and the site is still not live, click HERE for an invite.)

So how does it work?

Moola WinningsWhen you first join the site, Moola gives you a penny. You then play a game against another player, and you both wager that penny. Before the game starts, you have to watch an ad, and then the winner of the game receives both player’s pennies. Betting continues at higher and higher dollar amounts until you decide to either cash out, or you go broke and have to start all over again. Any time you loose all of your money, Moola gives you another penny and you start all over again.

Since you double up each time you play, if you can win 30 times in a row, you’d walk away with $10.7 million, but considering the fact that both players would be risking $5.35 million (you can cash out at any time), the chances of that ever happening are slim to none.

Regardless, the highest cash out so far has been in the $5,500 range, so there is some serious cash to be made if you play the games right. Plus, when the site goes live, there will be a steam of new players, meaning the pace of play is going to pick up dramatically.

Sound like a deal?

Then head on over and try it out, because other player’s Moola isn’t going to wait around forever.
