…It’s Website Wednesday: CommandShift3?

CommandShift3

CommandShift3 is “like Hot or Not for web design”.

(In case you’re wondering, the name comes from the keyboard shortcut to take a screenshot on an Apple.)

On CommandShift3, you are presented with the screenshots of two websites side by side. If you click the screenshot of the site you think looks best, the page reloads and you start all over again. It never ends.

There’s a best & worst page where the winners and losers are gathered up, and you can browse winners by tag, week, or month, so there are plenty of options if you just want to look around for some inspiration.

StrawPoll is a simple site that uses Twitter to ask one daily poll question.

To take part, simply follow StrawPoll on Twitter to get the daily poll question, and then reply with “@strawpoll” (your vote) (your reason)”.

The totals of each day’s vote are then tallied up, and a winner is declared.

Lazy Earth ChairLast Friday, I held a contest for a new description of DidntYouHear.com, and the submissions were fantastic!

Unfortunately, since DYH isn’t exactly pulling in the big bucks yet, I can’t give everyone a prize, and I have to pick a winner.

Thus, I’d like to say congratulations to evilgregg for coming up with the winning description:

“The lazy man’s guide to the coolest stuff on the planet.”

It’s short and sweet, and does a pretty good job of describing exactly what this site is all about. Thanks Gregg!

…The World’s Dirtiest Film is finished?

David Spade’s The World’s Dirtiest Film is now finished, and features his own footage combined with the footage that was sent in by coeds across the country.

I wouldn’t exactly call it high-class entertainment, but it gets the job done for Axe, so I guess it’s a winner.
