The Human Pet, an interactive, fictional horror story featured previously on DYH, has been taken off of YouTube. Sam Deercot, the project’s director, has some pretty interesting things to say about the removal of his videos:
As you probably already know, YouTube recently shut down my channel “TheHumanPet” because they say it violated their terms of service. I believe this is because they found my latest video “Stalking” to be too graphic and disturbing. They did not, however, have a problem putting much more graphic ads for Saw III and Horrorfest above my videos, and even hosted graphic trailers and clips from these movies, all because they were paid to do so.
I believe that censorship is a terrible thing. I also believe that it will most often fail.
I have started a new channel called “TheHumanPet1”. I have also put my videos on The Human Pet blog at http://thehumanpet*blogspot*com/ (replace stars with periods). If this blog gets shut down, I will start The Human Pet website.
My story will be told – complete and uncensored.
Please re-subscribe to my new channel, and please pass this letter on to your friends as a message against censorship. If it could happen to me, it could happen to anyone. Thank you for your support.

It looks like the series will continue on, and I only hope that Sam finds some way of completing his project, because humans do make good pets.
