…The Rubik’s Cube got a facelift?

Rubiks Cube

The Rubik’s Cube has always been a secret pleasure of mine. It’s something that everyone can pick up and play with, but it really takes a specific skill set to master the cube enough to solve it. Though there have been many re-hashes of the traditional cube, it’s the original that still hold’s a special place in many people’s hearts. Thankfully, the update developed by Geoffrey Parker only adds some aesthetic appeal to the classic cube, and does so in a very luxury way. Featuring a chrome body with colored leather inlays, this would look great sitting on your desk, solved for all to wonder about what mystical powers the solver of such a great and mysterious puzzle must possess. The only downside is you can’t peel off the leather and stick it back on in the solved position like I used to do when I was younger, but that’s a small price to pay for such a glorious gaming gem. And for your viewing pleasure, the current one-handed 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube speedcubing world record:
