…Vertu makes a phone that even you can almost afford?

Vertu Phone

Vertu, makers of luxury (mostly meaning expensive and not feature rich) cellphones, will release a more affordable line sometime this fall. Called Constellation, three different configurations will be made, including covered in 18 karat gold, polished and satin steel fronts with leather backsides that can be colored to your choosing, and even a fluorescent ceramic keypad if your heart so desires. Features include GSM and EDGE coverage, Bluetooth and USB support. Nokia provides the user interface, via their S40, and the 262K color TFT screen will be covered in a scratchproof sapphire crystal face normally reserved for expensive watches (or timepieces, a moniker that kicks in after a certain price point).
