When Apple purchased CoverFlow and integrated it into iTunes 7, album art was back as a method of sorting and organizing your music (definitely a good thing). Unfortunately, iTunes handles this newfound artwork by keeping everything separate and located in its own unique folder, and never actually embeds the information into the song itself. Though this works well for what iTunes is trying to do, if you want to use programs like Growl and Quicksilver to handle your music selection duties, they can’t deal with the artwork that iTunes provides. Thankfully, Doug’s AppleScripts for iTunes is here to save the day with their Embed Artwork script. Just let this free little guy run loose among your music files, and you’ll be fully embedded in no time.
